Holiday brothers made history

Holiday brothers made history

It took just seven minutes and 47 seconds for the Holiday brothers to make NBA history on Saturday, as Aaron started for Indiana, Jrue started for the Pelicans and then Justin checked in off the bench for the Pacers. That substitution made them the first trio of siblings to play in the same NBA game.

All three finally hit the floor simultaneously with 4:54 remaining in the third quarter of New Orleans' 120-98 win over Indiana.

Aaron Holiday has snagged the Pacers' starting role at point guard with Victor Oladipo out, averaging 10.5 points and 3.1 assists in 22.8 minutes during his second season. Teammate Justin has been a spark off the bench, scoring 7.6 points and pulling down 3.7 rebounds in 25.1 minutes as part of the guard rotation.

Jrue Holiday, a 2013 NBA All-Star with two All-Defensive nods, is viewed as a leader for the Pelicans while averaging 19.7 points, 5.1 rebound and 6.5 assists.
