No rest for the best b-ball players

No time for holidays in the NBA. Even the Christmas days gave us some spectacular games. Here are the results and the most interesting facts from the games played last night.

We will start with two teams that are struggling this season. Before this game the Pistons (12-20) were in a 5 games losing streak and the Wizards (9-21) are currently with 7 injured players. 8 of the Detroit players finished with 10+ points for the win with 132 to 102.

The Brooklyn Nets (16-14) made a gift to the struggling New York Knicks (8-24). In a game with lots of misses Julius Randle with 33 points was the highest scoring player and his team won 94:82.

The Oklahoma City Thunders (15-15) were with 4 consecutive wins before facing Memphis (12-20). Memphis scored 66 in the paint and with better plays under the basket “bite off the head” of the Thunders. Final score 110:97.

Luka Doncic is healthy and back in action again. We could not miss when we talk about Dallas even if we try. He was the “motor” driving the Mavericks (20-10) over the Spurs (12-18). It is strange how the Spurs are currently 9th in the West with players like DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge and Rudy Gay in the roster. The advantage of the 8th in the West Portland is only 2 games however and the Spurs can still get something out of the season. Final score San Antonio 98 – Dallas 102.

Minnesota (11-19) needed two overtimes in order to defeat Sacramento (12-19). This win put an end to 11 games losing streak for the wolves that started on 27th November. Minnesota 105 – Sacramento 104.
