Cristiano Ronaldo quarantined at home

The Portuguese superstar will remain on Madeira in the next 14 days after it is revealed that his teammate Daniele Rugani was infected with a coronavirus.

Rugani did not take part in the last league match against Inter but was on the bench. A few days ago, the 25-year-old defender was diagnosed with the new COVID-19 virus, which forced players on both Juventus and Inter to go through a mandatory 14-day isolation period.

Important: No Champions League matches next Tuesday

After winning the Derby d'Italia, Ronaldo went to his hometown to be close to his mother, who had a stroke. The Apennines media predicted Cristiano's return on Thursday, but his charter flight was eventually canceled.

The Juventus striker will remain on Madeira in the next two weeks. According to local authorities, Ronaldo and his family have no symptoms of coronavirus.

Remember that all sports events in Italy were postponed until April 3.
